Our Growing Global Presence

Currently, DAA Principles now have a presence in 33 nations around the world, with 26 languages in the mix. In 2014, Croatia and Turkey joined the European Direct Interactive Advertising Alliance (EDAA), and Canada’s program through the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada (DAAC) just marked its first birthday.

Discussions continue with other countries/regions as these jurisdictions weigh use of DAA Icon and Principles as part of their own advertising self-regulatory efforts.

Additionally, Canada and United States (DAAC and DAA in USA) share cross-licensing agreements, enabling interest-based advertisers and ad networks in most North American markets to use the DAA Icon online in each country where data collection occurs for DAA applicable business purposes. Dozens of companies have acted on this arrangement to reflect market realities.
