Entities engaged in data collection in order to serve interest-based advertising (IBA), also known as online behavioral advertising, in desktop and mobile web environments are encouraged to participate in the DAA WebChoices consumer choice tool, which enables consumers to express an opt-out choice from data collection for receiving IBA from one, some, or all WebChoices participating companies.
Entities that use tokens (sometimes referred to as "hashed" email addresses) as an identifier to enable data collection for IBA can participate in the DAA's YourAdChoices Token-Based Opt Out/Revocation tool to provide transparency and consumer control regarding this purpose among one, some, or all YourAdChoices participating companies.
What Will Happen Next?
If your company is interested in participating in the cross-industry YourAdChoices program by being listed on the WebChoices and/or YourAdChoices tool(s), please complete the registration form below. After submitting this form, upon review and qualification, you will receive a Choice Tool(s) contract agreement within 10 business days along with integration guidance documents for WebChoices and/or YourAdChoices.
Once this agreement is signed and payment to DAA is received, you will be provided with technical guidance for integration and inclusion on the WebChoices and/or YourAdChoices tool(s).
The fee to participate in the WebChoices Tool is $15,000 and is renewable annually. A multi-screen bundle pricing option also is available in conjunction with AppChoices registration. Included in this single fee is the option to participate on the DAA YourAdChoices Token-based Opt Out/Revocation Tool -- representing the next generation of ad tech for interest-based advertising.
