Entities engaged in data collection in order to serve interest-based advertising (IBA), also known as online behavioral advertising, in desktop and mobile web environments are encouraged to participate DAA's Consumer Choice Tools: YourAdChoices Token-based Opt Out/Revocation Tool, AppChoices for mobile app environments, and WebChoices for desktop and mobile Web-viewing environments, all of which enables consumers to express an opt-out choice from data collection for receiving IBA from one, some, or all DAA Consumer Choice Tool participating companies.
Entities that use tokens (sometimes referred to as "hashed" email addresses) as an identifier to enable data collection for IBA can participate in the DAA's YourAdChoices Token-based Opt Out/Revocation tool to provide transparency and consumer control regarding this purpose among one, some, or all YourAdChoices participating companies.
Entities seeking to certify their own Addressable Media Identifer(s) in accordance with DAA's Policy Framework for Addressable Media Identifers (AMIs) may also use this form to indicate that choice here.
What Will Happen Next?
If your company is interested in participating in the cross-industry YourAdChoices program by being listed on the YourAdChoices and/or AppChoices and/or WebChoices tool(s), or in becoming AMI-certified, please complete the registration form below. After submitting this form, upon review and qualification, you will receive a Choice Tool(s) or AMI agreement within 10 business days.
Once the agreement is signed and payment to DAA is received, you will be provided with technical guidance for integration and inclusion on the YourAdChoices, AppChoices and WebChoices tool(s), and/or guidance for the DAA AMI certification process, currently administered by TrustArc.
The fee to participate in the WebChoices Tool is $15,000 and is renewable annually. A multi-screen bundle pricing option also is available in conjunction with AppChoices registration. In the form below, please indicate your interest in bundled pricing by checking either of the two bundle choices available under "Area(s) of DAA Participation Interest."
We also offer the option to participate on the DAA YourAdChoices Token-based Opt Out/Revocation Tool -- representing the next generation of ad tech for interest-based advertising. We charge $15,000 for the YouAdChoices Token-based Opt Out/ Revocation Tool by itself, or $10,000 in conjunction with WebChoices OR AppChoices. For all three choice tools, we charge $28,000. The fee for AMI Framework Independent Review and Participation is $25,000 per company.
These fees are renewable annually.
